“What is it?” Lucas asked as he turned to face me in the car. “You have been staring at me since we left the bar.”
“I was just curious about what happened to Micheal and his mate but you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.” I looked away from him, pretending not to be desperate but I was literally dying of curiosity inside.
