LENA’S POV
After Lucas left, I remained in the same position on the bed. Instead of crying, I suddenly began to laugh at my stupidity for still harbouring feelings for Lucas when Liana had warned me not to.
In the end, I was nothing compared to Yvonne in Lucas's heart. Just one phone call from her and he went running.
My laughter turned into a full sob as the dam broke in my eyes. I began to recall all the good time we had spent together that made me fall for him but then I realised that it was all because Yvonne was not around.
Everything is going to change now that his first love is back.
‘Lucas's heart belongs to another woman, we can't force his heart to accept us,’ Andrea added. ‘We will leave and forget about this once the contract is over.’
