Chapter 26 Becca shivered and rubbed her arms quickly. The thin cotton of her jersey shirt was damp from the light rain that had started to fall within the last half hour. She thought she was close to the top of the trail, but in the dark of the spruce forest, it was hard to see. She wasn’t familiar enough with landmarks to know what to look for. She was going only on a vague sense. She’d almost jumped up and down when she finally heard Aidan’s voice on the phone earlier.
