The word "related" echoed in my head like a war drum.
I stared at Damian, and my breath was stuck between my ribs and my throat. Lucian's growl rumbled behind me. It was low, deadly, and full of disbelief.
Damian coughed and wiped blood off his lip. "Not siblings," he said in a rough voice. "Not even close." But our family tree... my family tree... comes from the same ancestral house.
