Chapter 14: Piece

The day of the art exhibit had finally arrived. Sarah was nervous and excited as she prepared for the big event. She had spent months working on her pieces and she was eager to share them with the world. She arrived at the gallery early to make sure everything was set up correctly. As she walked around, admiring her work, she suddenly heard a familiar voice behind her.

"Your work is stunning, Sarah." It was Jake. He was dressed in a suit and tie and he looked as handsome as ever.

"Thank you, Jake. I'm so glad you could make it." Sarah said, her heart racing.

"I wouldn't have missed this for the world." Jake said, his eyes sparkling.

Sarah's nerves quickly faded as she spent the next few hours talking to Jake and admiring her work. She was filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment as she saw the reactions of the people who were viewing her pieces. They were amazed by her creativity and skill, and she felt as though she had finally found her calling.

As the night came to a close, Sarah and Jake stood together, admiring her work one last time.

"I'm so proud of you, Sarah." Jake said, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you, Jake. I couldn't have done it without you." Sarah said, her eyes misting over.

"You were the inspiration for all of these pieces." Jake said, gesturing to the art around them. "You're my perfect piece, Sarah. And I want to spend the rest of my life creating more memories with you."

Sarah felt her heart skip a beat as Jake dropped to one knee and pulled out a small box from his pocket.

"Sarah, will you marry me?" Jake asked, his voice full of love and emotion.

Sarah felt as though she was in a dream as she said, "Yes, Jake. I will marry you."

The two of them embraced, their hearts beating as one. It was as though the pieces of their lives had finally fallen into place and they were complete.

From that day forward, Sarah and Jake were inseparable. They traveled the world, creating art and memories together. They inspired one another and their love continued to grow with each passing day.

And so, Sarah's perfect piece was not just a work of art, but it was a symbol of the love she had found with Jake. It was a reminder that love could bring two people together and create something beautiful and timeless.
