SETTLING INTO HER CAPSULE, Miki peeked at Nina and saw her sister peeking at her. Miki smiled and gave her a little wave. Nina was a pretty nice sister, though she could be a pain in the ass sometimes.
This capsule was way bigger than the one she’d used in the first jump. She could see it from here. It looked so tiny, but Nina’s old one looked tinier. They must have been specially made for them. She hadn’t known that at the time. She remembered that first jump. It had been exciting to go on a big adventure. The gel covering her face hadn’t been much fun, but that part was soon over.
This time there wouldn’t be any gel, which was great.
