"Are you really busy with work, or is it because of Moira that you are reluctant to go to your room and force yourself to stay awake?" said the voice, which turned out to be Jane's. She never liked me, so it was natural that she always brought up bad things about me in front of Jude.
I was no longer surprised by that.
I stepped down one more stair to see Jude's expression, but he had his back to me and only his silhouette was visible in the dimly lit room. He seemed intent on staying awake all night, so he had turned off all the lights.
