Moira knew very well that Jude owned several large companies, so he was always very busy managing everything. According to Mirielle, he had to go on a business trip for the next two days, so he would have to leave her behind.
After several busy days at work, Moira began to forget what had happened a few days earlier—the meeting with her father and his harsh words toward her. They had knew nothing about her or what she was going through. What was more, her father had never been on her side since she was a child, so whatever he and the people around him thought didn't matter to her.
