I moved the laptop so the camera was pointing in another direction. I didn't want them to see Jude clearly, even though it seemed unlikely. Only someone's arrival was visible on the screen—from the waist down. I thought it was safe and they wouldn't know that my husband was Jude Hammer, a successful businessman, the alpha of the strongest pack, and that he was in a relationship with a prostitute he claimed was his mate.
Still busy with work and meetings between me and Dillan and others, I didn't react to Jude's arrival. The barbecue party ended too quickly, I guess. However, his arrival didn't seem to be to announce that the party was over.
