The Bat Cave

I can’t believe I’ve been kidnapped by vampires, and I can’t believe I don’t seem to mind. I have no idea what’s going on or why I’m so drawn to the big asshole but here we are. I plop down on the bed and contemplate my escape; the most logical thing to do obviously. For the first time since waking, I take in my surrounds. Big stone framed glass doors open out onto a beautiful balcony, I can see that it’s dawn and my smile grows. Perfect time to escape, the sun doesn’t bother me like it does them, meaning if I can get that door open and get out then I will be able to escape.   I hop up from the bed and cross the floor to the doors and attempt to open them as quietly as possible. They open with ease which bugs me, you’d think he’d have locked them, surely he knew I’d attempt to escape. As soon as the doors open though I realise exactly why he didn’t bother securing them. I look out into a big enclosed courtyard that is full of greenery and fake lighting, as if they have made themselves a daylight room without the danger of the actual sun. I curse loudly and slam the door shut, the glass pan shaking under the force. At this moment, I am absolutely and completely lost as to what to do. I’m trapped in some f*****g castle, full of vampires with no possible way to escape. ‘God’ I internally chastise myself for not feeding before staking that vampire, because of that lapse in judgement I was weak when they cornered me and that’s why I fainted. I hate myself so much right now.   Glancing around the room, I notice another door aside from the one Grey came through, a bathroom perhaps. With no hope of escaping the least I can do is have a bath and wash some of this stink off. Although, if I stink it might annoy them enough to let me go, or kill me; at this point either option is a win. I stalk over to the bathroom door and it opens into the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen, I stare transfixed by the beautiful wooden floors, stone shower, sinks and ginormous tub with windows overlooking another courtyard. I wander over to the window, seeing if escape from here might be possible, but again the courtyard is fully enclosed. I humph and pad over to the tub to turn it on. I think better when I’m relaxed and as such, maybe I can think up a plan while I soak. I open all the drawers and cupboards until I find some bubble bath and tip some into the water, watching it begin to bubble.  When the water is high enough and hot enough, I strip off my clothes and sink into the tub, groaning when the hot water hits my tired and sore muscles; the tub is big enough that every part of me is covered by water and bubbles.   Time escapes me as I soak in the water and let it relax me, I’m so at peace I don’t even notice Grey standing in the door way until he clears his throat. I jump in the water and scream a little, pulling bubbles towards me to try and hide my body from his hungry gaze.   “What are you doing in here!” I yell at him, while covering my breasts with my hands. “Admiring what is mine” he smirks, crossing the threshold, walking to stand above me and taking his time check me out from head to toe.   “I don’t care if this is your house, get out!” I yell again, getting more annoyed with him every second. But a part of me, doesn’t want him to go and that is an entirely new problem.   “Dinner is ready” he smirks again, “I thought you might be hungry” he licks his lips and brings his gaze back to my face.   “You know I don’t eat humans” I glare.   “Oh I know; human food it is for you my queen” he smirks when he hears my tummy rumble. Stupid body, betraying me in more ways than one.   “I don’t have anything to wear and I’m not getting back into those” I nod to the crumbled mess of dirty clothes on the floor. I cop another killer smile as he knows that I’ve given in.   “I have laid some out of the bed for you” he explains, wrinkling his nose at the ones on the floor.   “Great, well, get out then” I snap, indicating to the door for him to leave.   “I’d rather not” he smirks again, crossing his arms and leaning against the sink.   “Well I guess neither of us are eating tonight then” I smirk back, hoping his hunger will get the better of him and he’ll leave.   “You’re assuming it’s blood I’ll be having for dinner” he winks and then laughs when I pick up the bottle of bubble bath and ditch it at him.   “I like you feisty” he laughs as he walks out of the door. I huff out some curse words and steel myself for dinner with the in-laws.
