RAFAEL'S POV:
She looked beautiful yet simple.
She was dressed in jeans and a tank top, but it was her fresh face, which was now relieved, that made the real difference.
She appeared to be someone who is content within and has no cares in the world, and her skin appeared to be better as a result of the little makeup.
"Let's go," she said, smiling for the first time.
My heart started pounding rapidly inside my chest.
I'm well aware that she has the potential to be my undoing.
Not in that sense; I mean, she is the true thing that can cause death to me.
What am I muttering to myself?
I mentally smacked myself to break out of the trance I was in.
"Let's go," I said, motioning for her to follow me.
