Sarah's POV
“Who's there? Come in” I answered the knocking on the door and it came open. Lucy popped her head inside, making me sigh.
“Who were you talking to?” She raised a brow, sounding confused.
“You heard that?” I asked.
“Yes, I did. It was loud in my ears. Remember, we all have super senses. But it's only possible because I am this close to the door” she explained, and I let out a long sigh. There was no point in hiding my encounter with Ian.
Honestly, it happened so fast. I wasn't even sure if it did and was thinking I was locked in a daze until I heard what Lucy just said. Part of me was glad he came to me, but I couldn't help but suspect he might do something to Lucian. What should I do?
“Are you alright?” Lucy evaded my thoughts after noticing my silence.
“I met Ian today”
