“You shouldn't hug me like this, I am covered in filth,” I said to Sarah, but she kept on coming like I said nothing. Her eyes were so soft as she reached for me and pressed me into her embrace.
Every tension I was feeling went away. Now I could feel I was home. I hugged her back before pulling off as we were now surrounded by the pack. They needed an explanation for this. I could still smell fear in them, and it had to be addressed.
Rest assured I was there, so no harm would come to them.
