Lancelot didn't leave; he lingered in the hallway.
When Florence woke up, she heard voices talking outside.
Outside the hospital room, Sophia's voice was heard again.
From her coquettish tone, it was clear she was talking to Lancelot outside.
"Huh, what's this, still complaining outside?"
Florence heard Sophia's whiny tone, and so did Shirley.
Shirley's expression immediately changed. Gone was the gentle tone she used with Florence, her attitude turned cold.
"Florence, stay put. I'm going out to see what kind of nonsense Sophia is stirring up today."
Florence wanted to stop Shirley. She felt that Shirley didn't need to intervene so much in her matters with Lancelot, but she didn't have a chance to speak before Shirley had already left the room in a few steps.
