CHAPTER 3 I got to New York and I didn’t understand what the fuss was all about. Every stinking Israeli that comes back from NY doesn’t stop brain-f*****g you, "New York, New York, what an amazing city, what a dreamy city, I had the time of my life there." I was sure they were all lying. There's no way every Israeli that I've met in my life was so crazy for this city, it’s so cold and detached and nature-less and untruthful, filled with alienation and steel. Moreover, Israelis tend to lie about other countries they've visited. I mean, they have a tendency to lie all the time, but from their stories about being abroad you can’t catch them telling a lie, cause it was abroad. So they celebrate the stories exaggeratedly.
