May 4th

Shane's P.O.V

It's been a month since Alicia and I found out and told the pack that we were having twins. I was feeling a little stuck in my house so Alicia decided to take me for a walk, we heard it was good for the baby's.

As we walked down the sidewalk near the pond I felt a little cramp in my lower back that moved to my abdomen. I wondered why I was feeling those but didn't think anything of it since I wasn't due for another month. we walked and walked until it was around 4 in the afternoon.

"I love this." Said Alicia looking around as I sat on the bench to rest my feet from walking around all day

"Yeah, Which part?" I ask rubbing my belly "The sky or me being due in exactly a month."

"Both," she said sitting next to me as I lay my head on her shoulder. "lets just sit here for a while..I'll mind link you dad to let him know were safe." she said as I nod and slowly fall asleep in her lap.

"Shane, SHANE!" I jolted awake "Wake up baby, We've been here for hours, we need to get home." Alicia said standing up

"What time is it?" I ask holding out my hand so she can pull me off the bench

"1 in the morning" she said as i stood up.

I winced in pain and grabbed my stomach "oh my god. AGHHHH" I yelled "Get me to the hospital."

"Why? Are you okay?" she asked holding me up

"I think I'm going into labor." I said as Alicia shifted and I got on her back and we rode to the hospital 

"She's having contractions" Alicia said "We think she's going into labor."

"Aghhhh" I yelled again.

"How far apart are they?" A nurse asked while rushing us to a room

"last one she had was about 7 min-" Alicia started

"Aghhh" I squeezed onto Alicia's hand as sweat ran down my forehead

"5 minutes ago"  Alicia says while undressing me and putting on my hospital gown

"okay 5 minuted, epidural or no?" the nurse asked getting out a needle.

"No.." I say breathlessly but calm. "I can't feel them right now. I think they slowed down."

"okay, what about during labor?" she asked

"No, I want the full experience of giving birth since the next kids we have will be coming out of Alicia...hopefully." I say looking a Alicia's face go pale. "Just call my family. I want the Alpha, Luna, Helen,  the Graden family, Jenny, Jason and Mary Greene here. Oh also call James and Blaine Abram from the Silver Water pack." 

"Yes Luna." The nurse says rushing out of the room heading towards the front desk

"How is this happening? I thought you were due on June 3rd." Alicia asked sliding on the bed beside me

"Well, I guess plans changed." I say as we chuckle. "aghhhh. goddamn. They always come out of nowhere."

"Are you sure you don't want an epidural?" Alicia asked looking at me with sympathy

"Yeah, and plus it says here that i'm dilated to 10 cm." I respond with a smile "only 6 more cm to go."

"YOUR IN LABOR!" Helen asked me bursting through the door.

"Yeah and it would be nice if you didn't give me a headache." I joked

"Jackie, Our children are going to have our grandchildren." my mom said to Alicia's mom, Jackie

"Oh our baby's baby is in labor." Alicia's dad, Jack said with a smile.

"Aghhhh" I yell as everyone got into a defensive stance.

"Calm down guys...it was just a contraction." Alicia said "last one she had was 10 minutes ago."

"oh..good" My dad said fixing himself.

"Aghhhh" I yelled again. "Goddamn!! Dad..Whats my Aghhhh!"

"Getting the nurse" Jason said running out "NURSE! SHE"S ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH!"

"Aghhhh!" I yell throwing my head back and biting my lower lip and whimpering "there getting worse. What's my dilation?"

"3 cm" Helen said

"AGHHHH!" I yell with a gasp "Fuck."

"Alright Luna. Were gonna need you push on three, ready?" the nurse said as I nod.

"Ahhh god, Alicia hold my hand?" I ask as she grabs my hand.

"Okay Luna, on three. One...Two...Three." she said 

I pushed "Ughhhh." I yelled giving up after 20 seconds letting out a gasp for air

"Just push and I promise you'll be okay." The nurse said "do it again. One...Two...Three.

I screamed and groaned when I finally heard the nurse sat "Alright keep going. I see a head." when she said that I pushed harder till I felt relief. "It's a boy." she said handing the baby to Alicia.

"Looks like the girl is next" My mom said grabbing onto my hand.

"Aghhhhh." I yelled as I felt another pain in my stomach

"Here she comes. You know the drill Luna." The nurse said "One...Two...Three." 

I pushed and pushed until I couldn't breathe and then I came to then thought that my daughter was never gonna come out of me. "I can't do it" I said letting out tears.

"Yes you can" My mom said. "Because if you don't then you will regret everything in the future because you raised one child instead of two. So build up the courage and push out that goddamn baby." she said and I nodded

"One, Two, Three" I said to myself and pushed harder and harder until I felt another relief.

"There she is." the nurse said "Luna Alicia? Would you like to cut the umbilical cords?" 

"of course" she said grabbing the scissors from the nurse and cutting the cords.

"Alright, I will clean, weigh and rap up your baby's" she said walking off with mine and Alicia's mom.

"I need coffee." I say laying down
