Gwen's POV
The door slowly opened as Blake walked into the room, his eyes searching for me immediately as he stepped inside. I was still in bed but I was not fine. My inside was in turmoil as it was beyond words shattered. My eyes lit up as Blake’s eyes met mine, at least he was here now.
“Blake," I called out to him softly as I tried to hide the sadness in my voice. I allowed a smile to spread across my face.
He immediately crossed the room in a few long strides to my side then took my hand in his. “Are you okay? How do you feel now?" He asked me.
“I think I am okay, just the sting from the pain, that's all!” I explained to him, trying so hard not to burst in tears before him.
