I lay on my bed, a smug smile running over my lips as thoughts of last night invaded my mind.
How Gwen touched me, her warmth, the first night we shared, all filled my mind, and I could not seem to think of anything else.
I still felt the lingering scent of her on my skin, sweetly reminding me of our night together.
My beta, Felix, stood before me, reading off the latest reports on activities and issues concerning the pack.
Felix was professional and thorough, but my mind kept straying back to Gwen. I tried to listen, but my head strayed as I felt a strong need to be with her.
"Alpha Blake, are you listening?"Felix’s voice cut sharply through my foggy thoughts, pulling me back into the present again.
