Back and forth across my room, I paced, a jumbled mess of thoughts in my head. I had been desperately awaiting Alpha Blake's return, knowing that his visit to the seer could hold the key to understanding strange happenings within the pack.
When one of the guards finally relayed that Alpha Blake had returned, I wasted no time. She rushed to Alpha Blake’s room. My heart was racing with hope and fear.
