“I have to ask you something,” I said as I glared over at Lucinda. Viviane and Philip had returned to the motel while John and Rose went for a walk in the garden. I had a sneaky suspicion; John wanted to try and calm Rose down. Rose was not handling all of this news very well and I could not blame her, everything was so unbelievable that even I was struggling to come to terms with everything.
