დRoseდ I opened my eyes slowly as I tried to sit up as gently as I could. My entire body was in pain, and I winched as I managed to sit up and look around my bedchamber. I was currently alone, and I breathed out a sigh of relief as I reached for the glass of water that stood on the side table. I guzzled down the water thirstily as my throat felt as though it had been through a fire. “Slow down,” a deep voice said, and I squinted to see who had said it. “Over here,” the voice said and as my eyes swept over the room, I noticed a shadowy figure standing in the darkest corner of the room.
