“Are you sure you want me to leave you alone?” Philip questioned once again, and I sighed before slowly gazing over at him. We were deep in the forest surrounding Chester and I was happily sitting on the cool ground against a large tree. Philip was standing not too far from me, and he had a pained look on his face.
“Why are you so concerned about leaving me alone for a few hours?” I asked him curiously. “It is not as if you’ve never left me alone before,” I pointedly added as I raised my left eyebrow at him.
“I know…” Phillip’s voice trailed off as he finally took a step back and looked away and I frowned. Clearly, something was bothering him and although I knew he would talk to me eventually, I decided to push him right now.
