EPISODE EIGHTEEN

Micheal's POV

The drive home was silent as Jadhiel was sleeping peacefully not making a move, so cute.

I feel so sorry for my babe, like it hurts all because of my daughter , she almost lost her life.

How terrible it would have been if she lost her life, I won't forgive myself. I arrived home and carried Jadhiel in, the house was empty but clean .

I placed Jadhiel on the sofa so I can prepare dinner, what should I prepare!

I think Rumen would be better, it's the easiest and the one I have knowledge of.

In less than 30minutes, I was done cooking and Jadhiel was awake already.

" Hey little princess" I said bringing the tray of meal I prepared to the sofa.

She ignored me...

" Beautiful princess, are you okay" I asked and she yanked my hand away.

" It's daddy baby girl, who annoyed you Jadhiel, remember am your soldier" I said but she ignored me.

" OK let's have our meal, I prepared your favourite but in another way" I said bringing the meal close to her and suddenly, she pushed the tray off thereby spilling it's contents on the floor.

" Jadhiel...What have you done" I asked but she ignored me and ran upstairs,

" What's wrong" I asked noone in particular.

I cleaned up the mess and already lost appetite to eat , I rushed upstairs immediately. I could hear sobs as I got closer to the room .

" Where is my daddy..I need him now, not a strange man in this house" she cried out and and looked confusingly, is everything alright, who hurt her this bad.

I pushed the door open and I found Jadhiel sitting on the floor and crying with her heads on her knees.

I rushed to her bending down to balance the height of her.

" Little princess.... What's the problem, you know it hurts me to to see you this way" I said caressing her wet cheeks.

" Leave me alone! Let me be!" She yelled and I shrinked.

" Jadhiel! What's the problem, remember daddy loves you so much" I said trying to make her smile but she cried the more.

" Do you really love me, I want my old dad back, that person that loves me so much, pampers me, call me sweet names, plays with me , buy me my favourite . I want that Dad that promise to love till the end and promissed I will always be his number one priority" she voiced out and I was touched, did I ignore all that.

" Little princess!...." She cuts me short immediately.

" Don't call me that, I hate her, she took you away from me and I will never like her, I wish she leaves and never turns back" Jadhiel said and I was confused, hope she wasn't referring to Dennis

" Fine, am sorry , you know I can't bear to see you in tears okay, nothing can ever break our bond because i will never stop loving you, i cross my heart" I said indicating the love sign and she smiled.

" I love you too daddy" she said hugging me and I reciprocated it, she is just too soft and fragile, she is just like the light in my life.

" So can we eat" I asked and she nodded .

" But first you have to give me a piggy ride" she said pouting and I agree.

She jumped like frog on my back pinching making me laugh so loudly as we headed to the dining.

" Now come down" I ordered but she refused holding unto my back so tight.

I forced her down and she laugh, I brought the remaining meal and we are together happily. I now know nothing can be compared to the joy of living happily with your beautiful biological daughter.

" Daddy please let me join you in washing the plates, Jadhiel said bringing a high stool closer to me before climbing on the top so she can be able to wash plates.

" Don't trouble yourself Jadhiel, you can't wash it clean" I said but she proved adamant, a stubborn head.

" OK fine but please be careful and don't hurt yourself" I advised feeling concerned.

She rinsed the plate thoroughly, slowly and cleanly, such a wise girl...

Soon we were done and we went to have our night sleep.....

" You talk a lot Jadhiel, you are going to school tomorrow" I said turning off the lights

" But I don't feel sleepy, I want you to tell me a story" I sighed, she is such a pain in the neck truly like Natalie said.

" Am tired little princess" I said pulling the duvet above us and closing my eyes.

" Daddy please tell me story" she said pushing me with her fingers.

" Daddy wants to sleep" I sang back.

She soon jumped and sat on me.

" You're not gonna sleep until you tell me story" she said tickling me and I began laughing so hard.

" Okay fine, I promise two different stories okay ...Hope everything is settled" I asked and she nodded smiling.

She then fell asleep curling herself like a ball under my arms.

I decided to call Natalie and ask about the welfare of Dennis but it was switched off, I pray she is fine, hmmmmm.

" Waky waky.... It's the morning" Jadhiel whispered in my ears switching on the lights.

" Morning hope you had a nice sleep" I said kissing her forehead and then yawning.

" Good morning daddy, " she greeted sitting on the bed.

" Remember you're going to school and am going to work so let's get prepare" I yelled out stretching my body and she immediately jumped into the bathroom.

" I can bath myself" she screamed from the bathroom turning on the shower.

" Fyn...Let me go prepare breakfast, tell me when you're done". I said heading towards the kitchen and began preparing breakfast.

The door bursted opened revealing Natalie who rushed to me.

" Good morning bro" she greeted with a long look.

" Morning, I never expected you this morning, how is Dennis" I asked and she frowned. .

" That lady you call babe is pregnant with another man's child" Natalie dropped the bomb slell and I looked at her in akward way and finally began to laugh.

" We are not in April for you to be foolkng and stop playing those jokes. " I said preparing an egg sauce.

" Am dare serious, more than serious, I eaves dropped their conversation cause her friend came and I found out this is the second time she is gonna abort for the Sane man" Natalie said slowly.

" Enough with your c**k and bull story, you just rushed in here and began saying non- sense, what's your problem, that's enough of this topic. Dennis can't do all that" I said defendenly.

" Of course she is able and capable to do it, am telling the truth, Believe.." I cut her shot immediately.

" No more words From you again" I said and just then Jadhiel rushed in

" I prepared for school by myself" Jadhiel said and I began laughing so hard as my eyes got to the different legs of shoes she work, the back of her uniform and too much powder.

" Jadhiel... Your are so funny, you tried okay... Now let me make you more beautiful.

I said and changed everything back to normal and suddenly Natalie left ...

" Daddy, what's wrong with aunty Natalie, she doesn't looks fine " Jadhiel asked me as I took breakfast to the dining.

" She would be fine" I stated simply.

Natalie's POV

I can't believe Micheal never believed me, Dennis did a good job to have brainwashed Micheal either fake love. Of course I heard every single thing they discussed but kept quiet .

Why is Michael so daft and stupid, that fucken criminal needs to be dealt with.

I just pity Micheal cause by the time realisation hit on him, then it would be too late.

I freshenedup and went back to the hospital ,,the doctor already told me Dennis would be discharged today. The fucken girl was still sleeping, I tapped her gently smirking

" Oh Good morning Natalie..."

" Hold your greetings to yourself" I said and she looked at me surprisingly.

" You're such a good pretender, you want to ruin my bro right, you want to use and dump him. You are so shameless, aborting the second time, fish what kind of a human being are you" I asked and she looked at me confusingly pretending to know nothing about what am talking about.

" I don't understand you, what are you talking about"

" You will soon know what am talking about if you try anything stupid on Micheal if anything happens to the Miller's family, you're so dead" I said.

" Are you insane, have you gone crazy, why are you accusing me of such , you are even still shouting" Dennis asked and I eyes her angrily.

" So I should stop fighting when you're about to ruin my brother, I warning you.

I disliked you from the beginning ever since I set my eyes on you, I knew you were a devil incarnate, don't try anything stupid. Am warning you" I said and she sighed.

" Truly you have gone crazy ....Ouch !" She whimpered in pain as she touched her forehead.

I left the ward angrily, I so much hate her right now, mmehy can't Micheal reason with me.

ONE WEEK LATER.

Jackson's POV.

I puffed out smoke from my cigarette as I was sweating profusely,ithrew so naira notes on the half n***d b***h who ran out . She was so good than I expected, am just celebrating cause the downfall of Micheal is drawing nearer.

My phone ranged it the caller ID was sharp man.

Caller: hey boss ,I got every useful information about him.

Me: wow ! That's fantastic.

Caller: he has a daughter and a sister and also another young lady whom I supposed to be his girlfriend.

Me: send me the girlfriend Pictures, I think I know her, she would be of good help to make our plans easier.

Caller: just give me few minutes.

( Call ends).

I smiled after receiving the call, I pull a drag and puff our smoke from my nostrils and mouth. Suddenly my phone pinged and I saw the picture, the same lady that came to visit Micheal at his work place. I remember her clearly , time to act fast. I picked up my phone and dialled Simon's number, one of my close friends, he picked up immediately.

Simon: hey friend,I never knew I still have you my contact lists after so many years, today you remembered me,rain is surely going to fall.

Me: are you trying to insult me (laughs) well I need your help...

Simon: oh really, I thought as much do how may I be of help.

Me: you remembered when we were still in South Africa m, then we were into clubbing especially ace club, we videoed a murder scene and also snapped some pictures. I need them right now. Badly....

Simon : fine but hope you're not gonna put anyone in trouble.

Me: I can explain to you later but I need those videos.

Simon: okay, I will check on my old memory card but please I don't want any kind of truoble.

Me: trust me naw...Your guy.

( Call ends)

I smirked after receiving the phone call,all my plans are going on smoothly.

I lit up another cigarette and puff it both from my ears , nostrils and mouth. Not to be surprised, am an experienced smoker, it's my inspiration.

After some few minutes, the videos and pictures was sent, I smiled contently after watching the video.

Am the master planner, this is just the beginning of the game...
