EPISODE SIXTEEN

Dennis POV.

We entered the ward and found Jadhiel unconscious with a drip fixed on her.

Michael ran to her side and kissed her on her forehead.

"My baby princess.... how are you doing, please be strong for me and remember Daddy loves you so much. " Micheal said and kissed Jadhiel on her hands.

He arranged her scattered hair and caressed her cheeks.

" Hey little baby, be strong for us, everyone misses you, can't wait for you to get back in your feet so we can taunt and play with each other, even turn the house upside down" Natalie said and everyone Chuckled.

" I will be right back baby love" Natalie said leaving the ward and silence endyed between me and Michael.

My phone rang and the caller ID was Don,I swipe the green button, so lucky enough it was not on speaker

Don: hey babe

Me: hey how are you doing.

Don: am not fine, how do you expect me to be fine when you're not by my side. I miss you badly bae...

Me: c'mon...we saw yesterday

Don:I need you by my side every minutes, seconds , hour...

Me: don't make me faint here okay, am not running away okay...we will talk later..

(Call ends)

" You can be crazy at times" I said to myself giggling.

" Who was that" oh I just remembered, I was still with Michael.

" None if your business" I said and scoffed loudly.

" Am deeply sorry, its not what you think, she was just trying to..." Icut him short immediately.

Trying to what! Of course I was not blind when I saw you both trying to make out. Just when our relationship is not even up to twenty four hours" I said and concentrated on my phone.

" Please I can explain"

"Can we stop talking on this matter" I order and he kept mute, not that I was pained cause I don't love him but wants him to duffer a bit.

" Daddy..." That was the voice of Jadhiel,we both rushed to her.

" Let little princess, how are you" Micheal asked kissing her forehead.

" Am fine am feeling so weak" she complained and Micheal sighed.

" You will be fine okay ..so what should I get for you" he asked

" I lost appetite" she replied plainly.

" Ok but please be strong for daddy" micheal said stroking her back and she fell into deep sleep.

I am sure she didn't see me if not, she would have started naggging and all that...

Michael's POV

I laid Jadhiel on the bed as she was looking so weak, I miss my talkative princess.

" Daddy, am feeling so tired" Jadhiel said weakly as I covered her with the Duvet and put on the air conditioner.

" My little princess, you will be fine okay" I said and kissed her forehead before packing up her hair.

Suddenly, the door opened revealing Dennis with a tray in her hands.

"Jadhiel needs to eat something before sleeping" I smiled at her but she frowned, she is still angry though.

" I don't want to eat anything" Jadhiel said weakly.

" Hey, little princess, you need to eat something okay" I said carrying her in my arms.

" I prepared cornflakes for her so it will be light in her tummy" Dennis said as she fed Jadhiel who was to weak to disagree.

" Am filled" Jadhiel said burying her face in my chest as Dennis was about to give her the last spoon.

" Okay but thus is the last sppon, just take it for me okay" Dennis begged and Jadhiel finally agreed.

" If not am weak.." Jadhiel said with food in her mouth and her shut her up.

" Hey little princess..it's okay" I hushed cleaning her mouth and finally patting her back as Dennis carried the plates to kitchen..

"Thank you Dennis" I said and she nodded before walking out of the room closing the door behind her.

I sighed and s call came in, it was from my P .A

Me: hey P.A, how is everything.

P.A: everything is safe and sound and the office is secured.

Me: oh thanks, don't know what I would have done without you, I had an emergency at home so I decided to answer. That was why I left the office at that Time.

P.A: oh! No problem sir, till tomorrow

Me: yeah.

I sighed, atleast am assured the company is secured. I looked at Jadhiel and found out she was sleeping already. I smiled at the cute thing sleeping..so beautiful.

I remembered Dennis and sighed, it would be hard more than I thought.

Later that night*******

I rolled from one side to the other Unable to sleep, thinking About Dennis precisely. She beclouded my thoughts.

What would she be doing, sleeping or also restless. So finally am in love again!

I covered my face with a pillow smiling sheepishly.i turned to my right side and found Jadhiel sleeping peacefully, I smiled at her, the reason why I smile. I hope she is better tommorow morning.

After much contemplation, I decided to go see Dennis and settle scores with her.

She was in the visitors room,I creaked the door open and found her sleeping peacefully just like my little princess. I Chuckled slightly, I went close to her and kissed her on her forehead.God knows I truly love her like I can't believe ican fall in love after good four years.

" Denny,babe, wake up" I said tapping her slowly and she jerked up from sleep.

" Who is there" she asked and I decided to play naughty by keeping quiet. The lights were off,

" Oh God save me from Nights ghost" she said and I Chuckled silently.

I suddenly made scary sounds and she screamed making me laugh so Loud.

" Holy Molly! Micheal" she exclaimed switching on the lights holding her chest.

" Babe..it was me" I said and she smiled sitting beside me.

" I never knew you were good at sneaking, like a boss sneaking to the maids room" she said laughing so hard and I pinched her on her arm.

" Ouch...am laughing with you doesn't mean I have forgiven you" she said pouting and I went close to her holding her arms.

" Am sorry, you know I won't do that, that secretary is so...I don't even know what to call her, I promise to deal with her for trying that stunt" I said but she frowned.

" Just let me be" she said almost smiling with her arms akimbo.

" Oh you don't know how to pretend" I said kissing her eaelodes down to her neck as she moaned.

" Micheal stop...have forgiven you" she said and I began laughing at the Same time happy.

" Now you have woken me up from sleep, what should we do" she asked and I looked at her surprisingly.

"Run around the streets and everywhere playing like baby" I said and she hit my arm playfully.

" Am serious if not, we are gonna do a night vigil together" she said and I yawned.

"Am feeling sleepy..you know am going to work tommorow" I said and she exclaimed.

" What! You are joking, after waking me up from sleep, you aren't going anywhere" she said and I Chuckled slightly.

" I have sedatives that can make you sleep till tomorrow even till the next day" I said feeling so sleepy.

"It's not fair, leave me alone! don't talk to me" she said and jumped to the bed pulling the Duvet above her head.

I squeezed myself into the duvet hugging her from behind.

" I hope you can sleep like this" I asked and she smiled.

" Yeah... Jadhiel isn't going to school tomorrow" she asked and I nodded.

I soon began kissing and biting her ear lobes.

" I hope you sleep quicker babe" I said and she Chuckled.

In a few

In a few minutes,she was asleep and I tiptoed back to my little princess room and found her sleeping and snoring softly.

The next morning****

" I thought Jadhiel was awake" Dennis asked as she packed up the plates used for breakfast.

" Oh yes she was,but soon slept back as I left the room" I replied and Natalie screamed from the kitchen.

" Oh my God!" She yelled and Dennis went to check,she found out a cold soft drink bottle fell and broke on her leg.

"The first aid kit...where is it" I rushed to where it was kept and Dennis collected it from my hand.

" You're running late,I will take care of this" she said kissing my cheeks and rushed to help Natalie with her bleeding leg.

I sighed and went outside and drove out to work.

My phone ranged immediately and it was from my P.A

Me: hey... what's new

P.A: (breathing heavily) sir, there is an emergency.

Me: (alarmed) what's the problem.

P.A:there is a blood fight between Mr Jackson and some Street boys,am afraid, we might lose some one's life.

Me: (shocked) what! Am on my way right now .

What the heck is that mother fucker doing,I pray he doesn't put the company into trouble.

I arrived at our company and found out it was a bit crowded, I went forward and noticed Jackson fighting with six guys, they were all injured but keot fighting. Is this guy mad!

"None of you cared to even inform the police, you were just watching as if this was wrestling, gosh!" I yelled at the crowd.

I immediately dialled the police officers number and informed them about the b****y fight . I don't wanna record any death here .

Soon the police officers arrived and arrested all of then including the assistant manager , they were all taken in the police Van. They will stay in the cell and learn their lessons not to fight in the office premises again.

" Good morning sir" I turned and found out it was Amber greeting me, the fool was showing all her set of 32 teeths.

" Please go to your mirror to confirm either your teeths are clean and not opening them for me. Stay if my lane if you don't want your fucken a*s out of thus company" I sounded and suddenly my phone rang. It was my Natalie, so unsual.

Me: hey sis,why the call cause I know....

Natalie : no Time for that bro, something serious just happened.

Me: okay...what is it.

Natalie : Jadhiel and Dennis just involved in a motor accident

Me: what!

I can't believe my ears, Gid what's going on...is this a prank or what.

Dennis and Jadhiel were in the house before I left so how come they were both involved in an accident. This is so complicated, am losing it.

First it was Jadhiel having convulsion yesterday and now accident, I pray nothing happens to my precious jewel.

"Hey sir any problem so I can help" Amber said winking at ne, I looked at her angrily before rushing into my car and driving off.

Just then,a message came in from Natalie...

" Angels clinic care"

That was the name if the hospital,not too far though....

I speed so fast till I arrived there, I rushed in and met my precious jewel and Natalie sitting at the reception.

I rushed a hugged Jadhiel.

" My little princess, hope you are not hurt " I asked and she nodded positively.

" Oh thank Goodness" I said hugging her again.

" Dennis what happened" I asked impatiently

" It was Jadhiel crying she wants to see you, Dennis decided to give hers ride to your office when they both got involved in accident but thank God Jadhiel wasn't hurt" I digher heavily.

" Oh thank God, I pray Dennis isn't that hurt"

The doctor rushed in and we all walked to him.

" Doctor how is she"...
