EPISODE SEVEN

Micheal's POV

" Take care if yourself self baby girl, I will be back to pick you up from school" I said kissing Jadhiel on her forehead.

" Love you so much dad.... Bye" she mumbled chewing French fries.

She ran to her classroom and I smiled ,such a cute little thing.

I went of the school gate, entered my car and drove of course to work.

I smiled remembering yesterday, like seriously I got guts to kiss her.

I never knew when I did that but it was the best moment, she has really captured my heart.

Had it been my naughty friend is here with me, he would have taunt the hell out of me.I mean Maxwell, I really miss him like hell, I wonder how he is faring. Hope he is good?

I brushed those thoughts off my mind and decided to call Dennis. She picked up immediately.

Dennis : hey! Good morning Michael

Me: Good morning, hope you slept well.

Dennis : yeah I did, I was about calling when you called. Coincidence

Me: oh really, that's nice. Hope you dreamt about me

Dennis : uhmmmm...Yes but you scared the hell out of me.

Me: ( laughing) oh my God, like seriously...

Dennis : yeah...Also wants to appreciate you for yesterday hangout, it was fun. Thanks so much

Me: you're welcome...So aren't you going to work.

Dennis : No... Remember I told you it was just thrice in a week

Me: oh I almost forgot...

Dennis : are you driving..

Me: yeah... Heading to work.

Dennis : your are a stubborn citizen, you know it's dangerous to call while driving ( pouting)

Me: none of my business as far am talking with you.

Dennis : strong head...I will drop for now.. Byeand be careful while driving.

(Call ends)

I smiled staring at my phone and kissed it, such a lovely soul.

I adjusted the rear mirror in my car and noticed a white highlandercar has been following. Probably, we are going the same direction.

After few minutes, same car was still following me and I became uncomfortable. I increased the speed of my car and the white highlandercar also increased its speed.

My chest began rising and falling as I was filled with fear, I diverted to another wrong direction and the car kept tailing along.

Suddenly, I heard a gunshot and the front glass of my car got broken.

" This is an attack" my heart screamed and I drove faster the more as unusual sweats covered me.

The bullets became intense as I ducked it. My car windows and glasses were already destroyed. I began thinking about Jadhiel, who will take care if her If I die. Oh God this isn't happening....

Luck smiled on me as I arrived a police check point, I received a gunshot and it went straight to my right shoulder. I screamed in pains, I haven't felt this kind of pain before.

I managed to open my car door and fell to the ground bleeding profusely as I held my shoulders. My clothes were already soaked in blood.

" Ambulance! Ambulance! Run after those criminals" that was what I heard last and I passed out immediately.

Dennis POV

"okay fine...I agree we spend all the day inside together without going out and am not releasing you" Don said as I played with the hairs on his chest and I laughed so loud.

We were the only one in my apartment, Chloe travelled this morning.

" As you wish cutie" I said and pulled a hair from his chest and he whimpered in pain.

" Ouch that hurts!"

" Sometimes, I do wonder why men grow hair like goats on their chest , your own is even worst. It's just like a lot of land" I exaggerated making him laugh so hard.

" I don't blame you, why don't you barb all the hair on your head off like skinned" he said and I gasped.

" You don't like me at all, you hate me right" I said jokingly and he smiled revealing his dimples making me feel butterflies in my belly. I so much love Don, he is so romantic and fun to be with, I just realized it recently.

" Why would I hate a beautiful damsel like you. I love you so much Dennis with my body and soul" he said cupping my cheeks.

" You Don't know how I felt those times you kept on giving excuse anytime I wanna spend time with you. I was hurt, I felt like you're seeing another man. I became broken but I trust you so much and I know you can't do that" he said and began biting my ear lobes.

I felt guilty cause I know I betrayed him, I won't let that weigh me down, never!.Men don't worth it.

" Promise me you won't leave me for any other man" he said looking into my eyes as I crossed my hands on his neck.

" I promise" I said and he smashed his lips on mine and we suddenly began going deeper savouring each other's tongue.

He placed the other hand my waist and deepened the kiss.

A call call in and that interrupted us, I checked the caller and I saw it was Micheal. My heart skipped, I gulped so hard before picking the call.

Michael:hello ma....

This doesn't sounds like Micheal's voice, what is going on...

Me: Hello who is on line

Michael: am sorry the owner of this number got an attack and was shot. He is currently in the hospital and you were the last person he called. So please are.....

Dennis : ( shocked ) what's the name of the hospital

Michael : Divine care hospital

Dennis : am coming right there now.

( Call ends)

" Michael attacked.." I asked myself to be sure.

" Babe.. What is going on..Who...Called you" oh I almost forgot Don was with me.

" One of my friends got atracked and Hass been admitted..I need to be there" I stated plainly.

" We can atleast go together"

" Nope don't worry yourself...I will be back soon" I said and gave him a light kiss before heading out of my apartment.

I boarded a taxi after explaining the direction of the hospital.

In few minutes, I was there and I rushed in immediately.

" Excuse me miss, please what of the man that was brought in here few minutes ago" I asked the receptionist.

" You mean the patient that was shot in the arm " the nurse asked to be sure and I answered almost immediately.

" Yes yes...Please what is the ward number"

" Ward 039"

" Oh thanks" I muttered and began looking for the ward number before I saw it. I barged in to find Micheal on the hospital bed with his right shoulders bandaged.

He was lying unconscious as a drip was fixed on him,I felt pity for him.

I sat beside him staring at his handsome face, I caressed his soft cheeks and smiled.

" I pray the wound isn't severe" I said and my eyes went to the two phones lying on the table.

" That must be his phone" my instincts told me and I was right. His daughter was on the wallaper, there was no password so it was easy to unlock the phone.

I went to his contact to see if I could call any of his family member. Something caught my attention ' naughty sis' I giggled silently.

That must be his sister, I dailed the number and the person picked up immediately. " Hey Michael" she said and I cleared my throat. " Please am I speaking with Michael sis" I asked and she answered almost immediately. " Yes....Any problem and please what of Micheal" she asked curiously. " Well, he was shot and has been admitted to Divine care hospital" I stated and she gasped. " Oh my God! What happened" I cut the call immediately.

I don't have time to be answering questions, I squeezed Micheal's hand wisphering for him to wake up but he laid unconscious.

Not sooner, a lady barged in and rushed towards Micheal.

" Oh my God!Who did this to you Michael" the lady asked caressing Micheal's face.

" Excuse me... Please so you have any idea of what happened to him" she asked almost in years. I guess this was the lady I spoke with on phone , his sister.

" No..I was just informed and I rushed down here" I stated and she sighed .

" Who are you to Michael cause I haven't seen your face before"

She asked ' how rude'!

" Am a person Micheal's friend" I stated plainly and she looked at me akwardly,what I detest the most.

"A friend! Phew..." She exclaimed and her eyed her.

I don't like a bit,so annoying and immmatured.

The doctor came in and we both rushed to him.

" Doctor, what really happened " Micheal's sis asked immediately.

" He was shot and was brought here by police men. Please can I see the relative" he asked and I pressed forward so as Natalie.

"Sir...Am his junior sister , what do you have to say"

" And Me too" I said and she rolled her eyes at me.

" Okay...You both should follow .E to my office" we nodded And followed him to his portable office. We sat down opposite him.

" You are welcome, you see young ladies, your brother would be fine and please calm down. The g*n shot at his shoulder really affected him a lot, the bone connecting his shoulder and arm has been tampered. Am sorry, he might not be able to make use of right arm for now. It has been tampered and will take a lot of time before it can heal up. " The doctor explained.

" Okay , thanks doctor, please try your best, I don't want anything bad to happen to my brother. He is all I've got, I will come back for the drugs" his sis stated and we both left to Micheal's ward. In a twinkle of an eye , she left.

Natalie's POV

" I can't still believe Micheal got shot by unknown people, who could that be" I pondered as a took a bend leading to Jadhiel's school.

I arrived and carried Jadhiel into the car and she was busy eating chips. I pray she don't get busted.

The drive to the hospital was silent.

" Aunty Natalie , why are you so silent" she asked and I sighed.

" Dad was shot and is presently in the hospital" I said and she gasped so loud.

" Hope nothing is gonna happen to daddy" she asked feeling so sad .

" No my dear, I assure you that everything would be alright" I said and she forced a smile.

We arrived in no time and I took a to Michael's ward where she jumped on him and Michael flinched his eyes open immediately.

" Daddy....." She screamed out loud .

" My princess....Oh thank Goodness, I thoughti wasn't going to see you again" Micheal said trying to stand.

" Arrrgh, my arm" he screamed in pains

" Michael please take it easy okay, you need to be careful" that was the voice of the so Called lady.

" Oh Dennis, you came here, thanks" they said smiling at each other.

" Daddy, what is she doing here, I told you I don't like a bit" Jadhiel said pouting, so Jadhiel doesn't likes her too. I laughed inwardly

" Let's not start that now Jadhiel...How was school" Micheal asked in a calm voice.

" It was fine, what happened Daddy" Jadhiel asked Micheal who turned pale.

" I don't just know his it happened.

Jackson's POV

" How could you tell me that rubbish that you weren't able to kill him, are you insane" I barked angrily at scorpion. He was one of my guys used in Dirty jobs.

" Am sorry boss, we almost did as we shot him at his shoulders but due to the police , we were not able to finish up the task" that got me angrier the more and I pinned his neck to the wall.

" Was my God damn fucken business with the police,I paid you fucken bastard" I screamed at him and realesed him pulling a drag and puffing out smoke.

" Sorry for your stupid old self" I said eyeing him irritatedly.

" Well If plan A doesn't work out, we sketch plan B and this time around, he is gonna die slowly" I said smirking and puffed out smoke from my cigarette
