EPISODE THIRTEEN

Jackson's POV

We were all seated waiting for the god damn C.E.O so we can start the meeting, I glared at Micheal who ignored me.i was boiling with fury, Micheal is fueling my anger, how can the boss hand all over his properties to that i***t!. Well, I was eavesdropping their conversation and I heard when he handed over his properties to that nonentity, all his documents is under his care, omg! . The boss have so many properties in New York,so what If he dies, Micheal inherits all his properties in New York. Hell No!

Soon the boss the arrived distracting me from my thoughts and we all stood up to acknowledge him...

"You're welcome boss" we all chorused and sat down.

" Well I called you all here to discuss something very important with you all" he said and stopped halfway before continuing.

"I will be away for a long period of time and won't be coming back anytime soon, I need to answer some thing very chronical. Anyways, as I will be leaving,I don't want this company to go down in my absence so I will be appointing a new C.E.O who will manage and direct the affairs of this company. He must be given full respect and his commands must be obeyed"

I gulped so hard waiting for the boss to announce who the new C.E.O is ,I swear am gonna kill someone if that fucken bastard is being appointed.

" The new C.E.O of Mikano company Ltd is.... Micheal Miller,I need a round of applause" C.E.O announced and I banged my fist hard on the desk, the idiotic element stood up bowing. I gritted my teeth in anger, this is arrant nonsense! Totally rubbish! I can't take this anymore. It is time to strike.

" He is now the acting C.E.O of this company and must be respected, he has two functions, the manager and C.E.O position. Please I need a round of applause for him" the boss ordered and there was thunderous clapping.

" I will be taking a night flight so please work together to bring the best of this company. This meeting is dismissed" the boss ordered and everyone dispersed .

I walked to my office pacing TRO and FRO,

" this is pure cheating, I can't take this, never! Not when am alive!" I thundered and stormed out of my office to that Bastard Office

I met him busy with his computer.

I began clapping so loud and he looked at me akwardly...

" Nice one...C.E.O, manager and also holder of properties huh!. From grass to grace, how dare you!"I roared angrily.

" I don't understand, can you tell me while you are acting like an insane person" he asked and I threw my hands in the air.

"Oh ..Am insane right, now tell me while the boss keeps giving you all the positions in this office when you aren't Machine . What about me? " I asked and he laughed so hard.

"So that's what is eating you up.... Should I tell you the truth Jackson, that's because, you're an irresponsible person,an unserious element" I slapped him so hard on the cheeks and blood flew out. I held him by the collar.

" You have guts yunno, you have the effontory to insult me, you are stupid, you are insane, you're mad, you're mentally deranged!" I screamed out feeling so angered.

All thanks to the sound proof in every office....

" You insulted me Micheal, you don't know who you are toiling with cause by the time am through with you, I swear you would regret every stupid action you took. Both the manager and the C.E.O position and also the holders of those properties, I swear to God who made me, am gonna control everything, it would soon all become mine. Just watch your back cause by the time I strike, you dare not withstand me"I thundered and freed him, I. Stormed out to my office.

Michael's POV

Michael : hey Dennis, How are are you doing

Dennis : am doing well, how is your arm, hope it's fyn

Michael : oh yeah it is, sincerely i can't thank you you enough Dennis, you stood by me when I needed you the most. Thanks for...

Dennis : that's enough okay Micheal, I did it because you're a kind guy with a good heart .

Michael : (bites his lips)oh really, anyways, just guessing what

Dennis : you picked a thing on the floor and dussapeared into the thin air.

Michael : funny you... It's another thing entirely, I have been appointed as the CEO of my company, now acting two functions, though it won't be easy

Dennis: congrats Micheal, am so happy for you, you're such a lucky guy yunno, so how are we celebrating it.

Michael : by seeing your face again ....

Dennis : silly you, okay I will be coming over and to see Jadhiel baby, hope she don't bites me

Micheal : (laughs) of course she won't, so are you serious about coming over..

Dennis : yeah so where are you

Michael : still at work place , preparing to go home

Dennis : okay take care and mind you If you aren't fast, I might first you. Yippee!

( Call ends)

I smiled after receiving the call from Dennis,I was already missing her, gosh! Just in a space of two days. I was ready to go home and make sure everywhere VC was well secured, the boss already left, I miss him though.

Soon someone walked in ...

" Good day Sir...Am Gerald your new P.A so mind If I assist you in anything" I looked at him carefully, he was looking so decent and I liked him already.

" Cut off sir please, my name is Michael and I don't need you for anything so just go rest"

" Wow thanks sir" he said and walked out.

It was the next morning which was Saturday, like a day am gonna surprise Dennis.she was still around since last night.

Last night was really wonderful, we all celebrated including Jadhiel who couldn't stop rolling her tiny waist making everyone laugh.

I look beside me and found out she left already , how early.

I stood up and went to check on her when I noticed the passage till downstairs were dark like all the lights were put off.

Dennis came into view...

"Good morning Michael" she said and I smiled at her.

" Morning hope you had a wonderful night"

" Yeah Micheal and you"

"Of course yes ... Please where is jadhiel" I asked curiously and she smiled.

"She is with Natalie. Mind if you follow me, I wanna show you something" she said and placed my two hands on her shoulder and I followed closely.

She led me to the room they all prevented me from entering yesterday, what are they up to?

She suddenly opened the door and I gasped, everywhere was so decorated with Happy birthday stickers, oops I forgot, today was my birthday.wow!

Natalie and Jadhiel was holding a beautiful cake and began singing happily for me and Dennis wasn't excluded .

Soon beautiful red roses began falling on my face and tears dropped from my eyes,this is so good to be true, this was the be st birthday ever.

I ran to my beautiful daughter and hugged her passionately kissing her on her head, neck and cheeks which makes her giggle.

I hugged Natalie and kissed her on her forehead, I went to Dennis, took her hands and stared deeply at her.

" Thank you so much Dennis, I really don't know how to pay you back" I suddenly smashed my lips on hers giving her a savouring kiss before breaking away from it.

" Phew... Not in front of us" Natalie said cutting the cake.

"Dad, what did you do just do now" Jadhiel asked and I smiled at her.

" I just played with her ...So where are we going Today" I asked all as we headed to the dining. I wowed as the dining table has been decorated and arranged with different delicacies.

" Fun house...Yeah fun house" Jadhiel screamed jumping on the dining seat and opening the plate only to find well spiced chicken.

" Wow, who could have done this " I asked

" Right beside you" Dennis said and winked at me and I smiled.

" Thank you all, you guys making my day, Don't know what would have happened if I don't have you guys" I said munching my chicken.

" You're welcome so as our little upcoming kung fu mistress as said,we are going to fun house" Natalie said almost shouting.

I stared at Dennis who wasn't eating her food but far away in thinking.

"Dennis... Dennis, what's the problem" I asked and she jerked back to reality.

" Oh nothing..Am fine " she said trying to smile and I sighed.

"You're naughty Micheal, you stole one of my apples again, next time, I will bite off your fingers" Dennis said jokingly and I laughed so hard.

We were sitting on a spread red mat beside the beach enjoying the coolness of the breeze at fun house as Jadhiel suggested. It was still my birth day....

Natalie and Jadhiel were on a red mat playing as usual, the females were on bikinis while I was just on boxers only exposing my hairy chest..

"Like seriously, but yours is more sweeter" I said trying to steal more apples from her plates but she caught me and yanked my hands off playfully.

" You're so naughty Micheal, ouch!" She called out placing her hands on her toes.

" What's the problem" I asked feeling concerned.

"My toes hurt, the bone is stiff" she cried out and I rushed to help me massaging it.

I suddenly felt cold water in my body and Dennis began laughing.

" Happy birthday Micheal, I enjoyed your massaging" she said and I pouted like a baby.

" You tricked me Dennis" I cried out and she laughed so hard.

" Yeah I did. Now I have something for you" she said and I began so curious to know.

" Here a birthday gift from me" She said handling me a wrapped thing.

I began tearing it out and found out it was a gold chain and a very beautiful wrist band.

I smiled at her and took her hands.

" Thanks so much Dennis, why are you doing this for me, you're making me fall for you deeply and I can't help it. Promise not to break my heart" I said caressing her cheeks and her faced changed like she was not satisfied with it.

" I promise Micheal" she said and I smiled staring at the beautiful soul in front of me.

Jadhiel interrupted us jumping from nowhere.

" Daddy... Imagine aunty Natalie saying am the most ugliest creature and I looked like a monkey" Jadhiel cried out making me laugh.

" Don't Mind her, infact, she is worse than rhinoceros " I said.

" What is rhinoceririous " I began laughing so hard at what Jadhiel said.

" It's Rhi-no-ce-ros okay, it's a wild animal and very ugly with horn in the nose" I explained and she nodded.

" Okay daddy, now I understand" she said and I placed her on my laps.

" I don't want to see her face" Jadhiel said burying her face on my chest .

" Little princess,can you give me one reason why you don't like her" I asked and Jadhiel looked at me akwardly.

" I don't just like her" .

" How about we have a dinner party tonight " I asked and Jadhiel jumped like a monkey.

" Yippee...My stomach is gonna Burst, can't wait" Jadhiel said jumping to announce to Natalie.

Natalie POV

"So this is the reason why you haven't called right" I asked Jeff my boyfriend over the phone, tears gathered in my eyes.

" Am sorry but we have to call this relationship off, it's not working for the both of us,am sorry" he said and finally the tears fell.

" But why..." He already end the call without even allowing me to finish.

I dropped the phone on the mat with a heavy heart, I can't believe Jeffery would do this to me, after all we shared ,our good memories and everything. I truly love him but while did he suddenly break up with me.

"Hey aunty Natalie, Daddy is hosting a dinner party tonight which is gonna be superb" Jadhiel jumped and I looked at her unable to speak.

"Auntie... What is wrong... You're crying"she asked bending low to look at my face.

"Am not crying Jadhiel, am not" I tried to pretend but my voice failed me..

She suddenly wiped my tears and sat beside me.

" Whatever it is, don't let it weigh you down okay even though you can't share it with Me" Jadhiel said and I forced a smile at her.

"Don't tell daddy anything okay...I wish you could understand" I said and she smiled.

" Time to go home little princess and our aunty Natalie" that was my brother's voice and I stood up wearily avoiding my gaze at him.

"Nat, what's the problem" Micheal asked and nodded.

" She's fine daddy,let's go"Natalie screamed and we alll changed to our clothes and home.....We go....
