There is was, out in the open—my mark residing on Alexi’s neck. I couldn’t deny my feelings anymore. And even if I tried, what good would it have done? I had marked him and claimed him as mine. It seemed clear to me that my body knew what it wanted. My subconscious knew what it wanted. But I was just too afraid to say it.
