I hope John will be okay in there. No, I know he will be! If things get rough, he has that potion. That's why I couldn't go in. That thing could really hurt The Born, but it could also kill me if he ends up using it.
The fact of the matter is The Watchers plan is too important this time around to leave anything to chance. They know that John is the key to stopping them and they know I will stop at nothing to take them down.
As I wait in the alley, I begin to think about John quite a bit. This morning, I thought he would have been in much rougher shape, but he seemed to have handled it pretty well. Hell, he was even joking a bit. It was nice to see him laughing again...
There was so much more I wanted to tell him last night — about his past, about his family, about me.
