You have the learn to seal a deal before the party" I kept remembering his words as I fell each time, Star was patient, he is really going to host the people in his home with me here, what if somebody finds out am an intruder, a witch and drain me of my blood, he had said I will be present in the party.

"Try to channel your light into an element, it's not complicated, it's easy and clear just speak from your heart and trust it will be made," Star said, I couldn't help but feel helpless, why can't I do the easy ones, I could build a shield back in ARVERNIEN but I can't seal a common deal, every time I try speaking from my heart I lose control over the light leaving my body.

I was beginning to feel bad for Star, being almost impossible to train me. Apparently, fairies are like witches who can perform spells, they like us but better.

"You are already powerful, your power is so great you can't control it but that's because you didn't train and tame them, if you can control yourself, there is nothing you can't do," Star said, joining me in the circle, she sat in a mediative position like me

"Close your eyes" I heard her voice and I did

"Do you want to taste again?" she asked, I wasn't quite sure of myself but I answered

"Yes"

"Now speak into whatever elements and see it happen," she said in a low tone

"Let this very ground grow more than one pair of flowers, let it be filled with different kinds of lovely flowers," I said and finally separated my hands, I did like the Emperor would say "breathe in" I did and as I exhaled out I felt a surge of energy leaving my body, I closed my eyes right not wanting to see what I have done, praying inwardly that I haven't turned the devils garden into reins.

"Open your eyes milady" I heard Star say and I slowly opened peeking slowly to see the mess I have accomplished.

I did it, I finally did something nice with this power, I wanted to leap for joy and throw myself at Star, but I held myself back and we both giggled, but how does this equivalent the deal spell, now I think about it, we didn't chant any spells.

"You don't need a spell book for some things milady," she said and I threw her a questioning glare, why is everybody reading my mind and telling me they can't,

"Deals are different, it varies from light to strong, but to mystical creatures, it is something we rarely do, we seal deals and take them seriously, we do not relent on them or else there is always a heavy consequence to it. Star said and I listened attentively, happens the devil wasn't lying, "have you ever made a deal before?" I asked her

"Yes milady" she answered with a smile "but not a sealed deal" and I nodded

"You know am a witch right?" I asked her, her smile gave out she knew

"At first it was hard to tell what you were, but as you began attempting chant spells I recognized them as that of a witch. I heard witches belong to covens" she said, I do not even know about that, the Emperor had a scary coven where I summon my powers probably what she means.

"Not every witch belongs to a coven" I heard a familiar voice, it was Thanatos, and his tone was unexpectedly low and gentle, I noticed his eyes trained on Star, it was a dotting stare, his gaze soft and mellow, is it what am thinking? Is he perhaps smitten by the purple eyes, she was enchanting without a doubt I just couldn't believe this man was capable of such a gaze, the affection seems one-sided, Star wasn't even sparing him a look.

"Master has called for you," he said looking at me, his gaze suddenly harsh, I only nodded and motioned him to lead the way, Star stood by my side but I motioned her to move ahead making them both walk side by side while I continued watching him, there wasn't much, I wished I could see his face to confirm my Theory.

"Go in," he said, only then did I notice we have arrived, I hated his tone but that would be a query for another day, an unfamiliar door it was. I noticed Star giggling and not making an attempt to follow me in, the door opened before I could process I was entering the devil's chambers, his room was dark with me only seeing his shadow by the window, I saw him wave his hand and the room lit up, candle lit up in the middle of the room, it was formed in a formation for spell bidding.

"What difference are you with a warlock," I asked

"I would want to call them out but we do not have all-day, the party is tonight"

"What? when are planning to tell me that? You said there will be a party and I should learn the spell, I have only been here for two night and you are planning to get me killed"

"You will be with me as my guest, no one dare touch what's mine," he said suddenly trailing my face with his hands sending chills down my spine, his aura wasn't intimidating but seductive, and once again I am getting drunk in his strong scent, "As long as you are by my side no harm shall befall you, it's a promise," he said locking eyes with me, I felt my heart wavering at his words, I didn't even notice when we got into the circle till I saw him removing his black robe and I began to panic.

"What are you doing?" I asked still drunk in his scent

"Getting ready to seal our deal," he said and disrobed, I covered my eyes immediately to avoid seeing a thing.

"Open your eyes Nimai, do not worry about what you are thinking for you won't be able to survive that, if it were to be it" I heard his voice say, my mind wasn't concentrating on what he said rather that he mentioned my name, I slowly opened my eyes to take in a hard gulp, he stood shirtless with his silver-white hair flowing freely on his shoulders, I noticed it has gone a little shorter than the first time I saw him, my eyes traveled down his body, I felt like I was eating from the forbidden pot as I look at him, for some unknown reason my heart was leaping.

"Why is your heart beating more than usual," he said leaning in with a smile, and my cheeks flushed in embarrassment I forgot he was a creature with super hearing. my body jolted seeing he pulled out a knife from nowhere.

"Do not panic, I will make sure it doesn't hurt" he said seductively as he slowly pulled my hand close to him and placed the knife slowly into my hands

"Stop your mind from heading into immorality, you are the one to get us through this," he said and my cheeks flushed more, I couldn't help myself, they sure are seductive creatures.

"Nimai," he said tapping my forehead

"Stop calling me by my maiden name, and besides what name does the devil bear?" I asked him

"The devil? I presume that is a name for me" he said with a smile

"I want you to cut me?" he said making me realize the use of the knife "I can't cut you," I said

"Why?" he asked with a frown, I noticed he was closer, I never notice when he moves, it's strange that even with the hatred I have for him I still can tolerate his closeness to me almost half naked and suddenly talking seductively. He grabbed my hand and drove the knife into his stomach and my eyes grew wide "you wanted to kill me for what I did to you, why are you suddenly weak, why are you so easy to get, take your agitation out on me"

he said with a cold tone, his aura suddenly different, yes that's what I wanted but. But I don't even know, I can't kill him, I just can't, I felt tears begin falling from my eyes as his blood spilled from the cut, I held on to the knife refusing to remove it, he had dug it in deep into him, he held my hand again and dug out the knife.

"Stop!!!" I yelled from my guts, Immediately feeling my body burning up

"I won't die, am a vampire, not a mortal," he said with a frown almost hissing, realization stuck to me, I was panicking for nothing.

"Now give it here, your turn," he said as he took the knife form me and opened the other hand

"What?" I questioned confused

"This is us sealing the spoken deals we made, with our blood linking, I shall no longer be able to hurt you, do not worry it will only hurt a little," he said, I have never heard of a blood deal but I somehow believe him, I closed my eyes and gave my hand, I felt a sharp pain in my wrists but it disappeared immediately almost like it was never there. I opened my eyes to see him placing my bloody wrist in his open wound, his eyes told me it was time to seal the deal.

I closed my eyes and began concentrating just like Star had guided me earlier,

"Today in this strange land under the chambers of"

"HALDIR" I heard him say

"I hereby seal an unbreakable deal, I Nimai the witch with an unknown root which the heavens and gods has bestowed upon the power like Lightening make a deal with this creature"

"Haldir Nephus”

“That he shall not dare to end me neither shall i” I paused and swallowed if truly I really do not want him to die by sunset, I do not stand a chance against him anyway, I eventually continued “and he shall be by side anytime I call on him for help”
