“A ruler with a plan, what could be wrong about it? Nothing but a ruler with dark sorcery, making a human able to possess power never goes well” he rambled about with his shoulders raised pacing in front of me, making me dizzy.

“Gildor son of ADRASTOS, ended a life to become a king, his aura and shadows clouded with darkness, a tyrant about to go berserk, am not your kind but I can read the future of this kingdom”

“What are you saying?” I asked dumbfounded, ended a life?

“You have seen for yourself that you are nothing but a tool, I will allow you to think about it, I will return by dusk again,” he said to me facing away

“I thought you are a guest to the Emperor,” I said stopping him on his track

“I am but am a night creature and I do not care about your king, I came for you” his choice of words was strange.

“If I accept will you take me away with you instantly,” I asked him unable to hide my desperation, surprisingly I wasn't really sad about my new findings about the Emperor, but rather the urge to leave the palace intensified?

I watched his face sour, wasn't it what he wanted, for me to make a stupid deal with him,

“I knew you can't be trusted, you changed your mind already,” I said to him

“Is your heart really this pure or rather foolishness, make a deal with me, and I shall take you with me then” he said

The idea of making a deal with the devil sounds stupid and unreasonable and I can't defuse the eagerness in me to leave this Kingdom.

“I can find your family” I hear him say, “yes I will make the deal with a condition,” I say to him reassuring myself am making the right decision, his soured face turned into a smile

“State your conditions” he said patiently

“Pledge to come on my aid anytime I call upon you” I said, for I know his majesty will come for me, I just feel my problems are about to begin and if I have the devil by my side I might win against him

“You ain't as stupid as I thought” he said in a calculating manner, I kept quiet looking at him, I already figured battling words with him was stupid

“Take me away from here now” I said getting impatient, he only looked at me

“You rather seem impatient for someone was was comfortable,”

“Do you not wish for the deal to persevere? You wanted me take me,” he moved with light and I found my body in his arms

“Careful what you wish for” he whispered into my ears, I tried shoving him away from me, but felt like I was tugging a rock, he stood fit holding me right and I felt Him sniffing me,

“Your scent is peculiar” I heard him say before he slowly left me

“Make a deal with me” he said again, I was getting tired of him saying the same thing

“I am not a witch, only you can seal our deal, I will take you away from the palace,” he said stretching out his hands for me

“Can I at least see the, my friends, before we leave” I finally began to grow cold feet remembering Odede, our relationship somehow hasn't been the same, I avoided everybody except his majesty, I was going to leave the palace which was mostly filled with bad memories but I did have a few good ones with Asteria and Belle, Asteria was a sister to me.

“You can't,” he said coldly “I don't care about them but am sure you wouldn't want them killed,” he said still with his hands holding out, “they shouldn't know,” he said, his face void of emotions. My hands went into his and he held me bringing me close to him almost into an embrace

“What are you doing?” I asked him flustered

“You might want to hold me tight, we can't walk away here on foot without causing havoc,” he said before I felt his hands pulling my waist closer to him and before I could utter a word I was in the sky with him, I shut my eyes tight and held onto him tightly, I hear him sighed but I rather do that than let go, It wasn't long when I felt us down on the ground again but I still couldn't let go, my heart still leaping through my chest.

“I beseech you to let go of me, young witch” I heard him say, my cheeks flushed in embarrassment and I let go of him, he looked bored, exhausted and the same time full of energy, it was obvious he hated every minute he spent with me just exactly like I do, but maybe he really needs me and I think I need him too. I looked around to see we were in the middle of the woods,

“What are we doing here?”

“Don't you need a place to seal our deal, space and privacy” he said,

“I just recovered my powers I know nothing about sealing deals,” I said frustrated, the look on his face showed he was frustrated too...

I looked over at him, he has removed the long black clock he wore and the piece holding his hair together, he stood over on a high ground looking down, we have been quiet not saying anything, I wonder how far we are from ARVERNINE but I dare not speak a word, for some reason he looked disappointed for taking me after learning a couldn't seal a common deal neither can I control my powers, I thought he knew everything but perhaps I was wrong, I do not care about him but I still need his help, ironic, no matter how I think of it, it's pathetic, I am pathetic, just blindly followed the killer of my mother.

“What are your plans for me now, since am useless,” I said to him breaking the awkward silence

“You are indeed useless but I do not go back on my words, have a little patience,” he said, I didn't feel agitated shows that I have fully succumbed,

“Can you please take me far away where I can't be found at least” I found myself pleading, he only took a look at me and ignored me

I felt strange energy entering the woods, I have never felt like that before but I could tell that something was approaching

“We are not alone” I let out, only then did I notice a young man emerge from the shadows smelling at him, then another, I began to panic, who are these good-looking men,

“Master!” the young fellow said with enthusiasm

“Why did you bring him along?” he answered looking at the other

“He wouldn't leave my side master, is that her?” he asked looking at me, his face more stoned and colder than the devil, the look on his face showed he hates me for a reason I don't even know, I only rolled my eyes at him and averted my gaze only to come face to face with the younger fellow, my body jolted from my sitting position, his silver eyes piercing deep into my soul.

“I am Zephyr, son of lord Cassius,” he said to me with a smile, his skin wasn't as pale as the devil whose name I don't know of, I nodded looking at him, the questioning look on his face showed I should do the same.

“Am Nimai, I don't know the last name of my father” I said awkwardly hoping he will let me be and go over to his supposed master

“Are you the witch girl?” he asked surprising me, have my tales traveled to their land too or perhaps they leave amongst us.

“You know of my tales too?” I asked him

“Tales?” he asked with a confused look

“Stop bothering the maiden Zephyr!” the other shouted, and I inwardly breathed a sign of relief

“I give this mission to you, bring her along with you to my home” the devil said to Zephyr before leaving with the other, I turned around to the smiling Zephyr

“I have heard of how beautiful witches are but I doubted it, the tales weren't a lie, you breath and exudes beauty” he suddenly said leaving me speechless, I was flustered and alarmed as well

“How come a young fellow like you can give wonderful compliments” I said still awkwardly

“I might be young but I doubt you are older than me” he said still with the pleasant smile “Come I have been tasked to bring you along, it's my first task from the master” he smiled and I found myself nodding

“Where is your masters house?” I asked him

“I doubt you know of our kingdom but it's Alfredo” he said, I have never heard of the kingdom, not even in tales

“Don't worry it's just a Portal away, am sure master will allow you visit ARVERNIEN every day” he said and straight out his hands for me, i immediately slid my hands into his without feeling wary, rather he felt like light like I should really trust him, reminds me so much of Asteria, I followed him with him leading me away from the woods, we were approaching a riverbank when I saw a magical ball rotating, felt like a passage to the unknown, I felt energy passing through our inter locked hands

“How are you able to do that without saying a thing” I asked him in bewilderment, something tells me it was him and the supposed portal he was talking about.

“You can’t?” He asked me, I could hear the shock in his voice “you are a witch aren’t you?” He asked me but I had suddenly gone mute, not ready to be told I was supposed to know, we easily went through the portal, felt like I walked through a fountain of water, I turned around to see the wood we just walked from till the portal slowly closed up,

“Where is this?” I asked looking around the castle like building I just found myself in.
