I stormed out of the hospital with rage coursing through my veins. Toby was hanging between life and death, but for some reason, I didn't feel sad or afraid. All I could think of was revenge.
I took out my device to call the cleaning company. When I gunned down Jacob's son and his minions at Ashley's apartment, I thought it'd be almost impossible to clean out the bodies without being seen by the other residents. But they did.
They hired a firetruck and disguised themselves as firefighters so they could evacuate the entire building and move the corpses after staging a fire. They knew exactly how to incinerate the cars, bodies and weapons so it was untraceable. Their services proved to be worth the millions of dollars they cost.
The dial tone didn't ring more than twice
