As I watched Miss Ashley pace into the building, all I could think of was the instruction Boss Dimitri gave me. He informed me about the weapon in the glove box and commanded me to wait outside Ashley's workplace until he comes to pick her. He also told me to protect her at all costs and I promised to do so even if it would cost me my life. It almost did.
When we were being chased by that SUV, I knew they would catch up with us and flank our car. Both I and Ashley would've ended up in an overturned vehicle if I continued in the race. So I stopped.
