GEMMA Did he just speak about my hatred for him? Did he even know why I hated him? I didn't care. I was pissed. He'd called me a coward. Turning back, I marched right back to him about to say something. I exhaled, "Say it again." I threatened. "What? You're acting like a coward?" Nate asked. My anger got the best part of me. I swung, balling my finger into fists and aiming straight for his face. I hit him and he grunted, turning his head to spit blood. My hand hurt like crazy and I flexed it by my side. I probably broke a finger with that hit but I wasn't going to let him see my pain. Yet, Nate smiled. It was big and genuine. It took me aback. I just hit this man and this was his reaction. "There we go. That's what we're looking for." He flexed his jaw. "That was a pretty good hit."
