There was a silence that descended upon the room. Everyone was lost in their thoughts.
"This doesn't make any sense. The White Wolf has been reincarnated for many years up until now. Why didn't they show up?" Nate asked. "Why now?"
"Because the White Wolf has never been reincarnated with a link to the royal family," Sandra replied. She folded her hands in front of her. "It's the first time."
Sid looked between Sandra and Nate. "The mate bond is the link." She said, bringing everyone's thoughts to existence. All eyes were on me.
"What do you want to do?" Nate asked. I could taste the tension in the room. They wanted to know if I wanted to break the bond.
If Nate rejected me, I would be free from the threat of the Obsidian Wolves.
I shrugged. "What else is there to do?" I asked.
