I swallowed and met her eyes. "Oh, really, who is it?" I asked. I acted bored. I continued walking and she followed after me.
"I think it's someone in the Alpha King's pack," Ashley said looking around. "There have been rumors that the White Wolf was reincarnated in that area."
"Those rumors are going around?" I asked. Who was starting them? And how did the person know about this?
"Yes. Everyone is curious who it would be." Ashley replied.
"If the Alpha King truly knew the White Wolf, I feel like he would have revealed them by now," I said, carefully. I needed to get her off this trail and give her something else to focus on.
"Hmm, I guess you're right. But, I want to meet this mythical White Wolf. They're like literally the talk of the wolf world." Ashley said.
