GEMMA It was bold of Elias to think we were friends simply because he stood up for me and apologized. It wasn't that easy. But, I wasn't angry. For some reason, the thought of actually becoming something more crossed my mind. But, I killed it before it could blossom. One apology couldn't fix the heartbreak and embarrassment at that moment. Nate found me when I got surrounded by obviously jealous women. He gracefully parted the crowd and they bowed as he took my hand.
