The woman then held his arm, trying to clean his face again but he took a step back, looking irritated now.

That's when I decided to go towards their direction.

"Lieutenant," I called.

Once they looked away, I saw how Wren's annoyed face turned brighter.

"Baby," He smiled suddenly and went towards me.

I smiled, I saw how the smile of the woman Daisy ata the name disappeared in my memory.

"You're here!" Phoenix said, amazed. I laughed and nodded at him.

I quickly took the hanky from my bag and raised it to dry his sweat. He smiled when I did that, slightly bent over so I could reach his face and wipe.

"I smell awful, I should take a shower first before we go and have our date?"

“No,” I laughed. "You still smell great! Who said you stink? I'll hit that!"

"Me," His lip twitched and whispered. "Would you s***k me, then?"

"Wren!" My eyes widen and slapped his arm. He chuckled more and kissed my cheek.

"What brought you here?"

"The event ended early and I ran away from the after-party so, I'm here!"

"Who let you in? No one called me."

"Arrow did, I saw him there."

He nodded and kissed my cheek before taking my hand.

"Let's go to my office." He took my hand, on his way to his office when Daisy sneezed.

"Uhm, Wren? Introduce me." She suddenly said, still hesitant.

"Liana," I smiled.

"Daisy, this is Liana." Phoenix answered. "My girlfriend."

"Oh, g-is that so?" She smiled awkardly.

"Hello, Daisy. Nice meeting you." I said.

I offered her my hand, I saw she was hesitant but she reached out my hand and faked a smile.

"N-Nice meeting you too."

"Uh, all right, we'll go first." I said. She nodded, still confused.

When Phoenix and I turned around I pinched its side so it jumped on me and snorted.

"What?" He whinned.

"She obviously likes you," I snorted.

"Who?" He raised his brow at me.

"Daisy!" I murmured.

His mouth rolled and he nodded.

"Really?" He said. I was shaken and scratched my forehead.

"How can you be so clueless, huh?"

"I don't tend to notice everything." He said. "You're the only one I notice,"

I froze, when he saw I was stunned the corner of his lip rose before he stole a kiss from me.

"My baby's blushing!" He suddenly screamed and ran away from me so we fixed me. I saw a lot of soldiers shifted their gaze at me, laughing as Phoenix ran away and took a bag there in the distance so I chased him.

"Wrenan!" I screamed in the field while he's laughing his ass out.

It was like we were idiots chasing there towards his office, some soldiers greeted me so I Arlond while smiling and chased the young-minded Lieutenant.

I saw Phoenix, trying to open his office door, panicking. When he moved slowly I quickly knelt behind him.

"Got ya!" I cheered.

He laughed, when his office opened he grabbed me on his back and shook me.

"My baby's childish." He said.

"Wow! Wren, coming from you?" He laughed and slowly lowered me, when he also lowered the relatively large bag he had taken from the field earlier I marched there and sat down.

"Stand up, baby, I'll move that upstairs."

"No!" I pouted and sat at the big bag.

"Come on, baby. I'm still taking a bath, so, we can have our date."

"Carry first!" I lifted my hand and showed it to him. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Don't want,"

"Wren ..." I pouted.

He shrugged, turned his back on me so I sniffed and folded but suddenly in front of him he quickly lifted me so I stopped and laughed.

I encircled my arms on his nape.

"Point five! Point five! Point five!" I chanted happily.

He smirked, I was stunned when he jokingly threw me on the soft sofa.

His brow raised, his green eyes glistening. I gulped when he pulled his shirt up from his nape and his dog tag fell on his tanned and strong chest.

I wipe the edge of my lip.

"Water point five there," I commented and he smirked.

I sighed when he threw his fragrant shirt in my face so I was stunned.

OMG! There's my sprinkle!

I felt his hand on my leg and I was giggling. He lost his hand on my leg and I waited, waited for him to do anything he wanted for me but none.

I froze when I heard the splash of water from the shower. I violently pulled Phoenix's shirt away from my face and caught a glimpse of the now closed bathroom and the loud rush of water.

I threw the shirt away in annoyance.

"Lieutenant! My point five!" I screamed angrily and I heard his loud laugh on the shower.

"Wren ..." I clung to his arm as we approached the cells.

"It's gonna be alright," He murmured, he reached for my hand and gently pulled me closer to his body.

"I'll be here with you," He whispered.

"I know," I sighed. "I just don't know how to deal with him after what he did to me. I didn't expect it to be him, not at all."

“I didn’t mind either,” he said so I looked at him. "I thought it was the asshole Ash."

"Ash?" My eyes widened and I stared at him. He sighed and nodded, caressing my hand with his thumb.

"He's too obssessed with you, baby, I can't shrug it off." He said.

I leaned slightly on his arm.

"He was there when you almost got kidn*pped, Lia. When he found out the men got you, he came to you that instant that when you went out of the car, he was already there."

I nodded and sighed.

"I don't see him now," I said.

"I wouldn't let him get closer to you," I looked up at him and wondered.

"So, he's just here?"

"Hmm," He nodded and I just nodded and took a deep breath.

When the police let us into the visiting area, I immediately turned my gaze to Cain who was sitting there.

My heart started hammering inside my chest, I saw Lily holding his hand while staring sharply at me.

"How dare you!" Even before I could get close, I was surprised when he stood up, he was about to kick me but Phoenix quickly came in front of me and hid me behind him.

"Keep your hands off." Phoenix said coldy, stopping her. When Lily was stunned by what she had done, she kept quiet and averted her eyes.

I sighed, slowly leaving Wren's back and facing Lily.

I saw her stare at me with such rage on her eyes, I could see what she wanted to start and when Wren was about to hide me again I shook my head and stared coldly at Lily.

"You wanted to hurt me, huh?" I asked coldly.

She lifted her hand, was about to slap me when I spoke.

"Go and let me file a Arrowe to you too so that you and your boyfriend can be together in jail."

She froze, I saw her calm down but her eyes were still full of anger.

"You don't have a right to file a Arrowe against Cain! He didn't do anything to you!" She exclaimed.

"Lily," Cain called.

"Not Cain eh! This woman is pressing false charges to you!" She exclaimed. "She was too desperate to have you! Because you chose me!"

I close my eyes sharply at what he said, almost laughing.

"Am I really that shallow?" I chuckled at her.

"Yes! You can't accept that Cain chose me over you! You're a freak, Liana! Childish and narrow-minded b***h!"
