The Biggest Lesson I Learned During The Pandemic

In this short life, there are so many experiences and happenings that could be life-changing. Every new experience could be our first experience. For good or bad, these experiences may have changed the path where life is taking us. For me, experiencing the pandemic was a first, and it taught me the most important lesson I never expected to learn until later in life: to always have faith in God.

Our faith was challenged when the pandemic started. Everyone has experienced a downfall. The world paused, and society stopped breathing. Everyone is weary that no one has any idea when this pandemic will end. The pandemic has taken its toll, and so many lives were sacrificed. I, myself, experienced the greatest downfall I could ever imagine would happen to me in this lifetime. I was diagnosed with a serious illness. This brings so much concern to me and my family. My parents broke down. I cannot think of enough ways to get through this storm. Every day, our hearts are restless.

Our faith will always bring us where we want to be. My God is powerful enough to brighten all the darkness we are in. With my faith in God, I feared this illness no more. I know in my heart that God will heal me. With the help of the doctors, my health condition is gradually improving and I can tell the healing power of God is working so much in me. Just like me, all of us who went through the pandemic are now slowly putting things back to normal. Everyone is recovering from the chaos we were in. We have prayed for this and now it’s happening.

With our faith in God, nothing is impossible. Never doubt the Lord. Having that kind of experience strengthens me so that I know whatever hardship I may go through, I will get through it.
