The Curse

"She is a witch,she must be burnt alive."

Sounded chorously as the old woman was dragged round crescent park..A gasps of protest erupted from the pack but was silenced by the Lycan King Lucas who ruled Crescent pack.. He was strong,having a well built physique, fearless but he was arrogant and has no regards for anyone and he was most feared..

"Enough!." Lycan King Lucas said.

Whispers rippled through the assembled wolves

"I said enough! " He said furiously..

Everywhere became silent and only the wobbling of the trees could be heard..

"Why the noise and protest,and who is this woman".He asked looking at the crowd.

"My King, She is a witch and must be burnt alive." a voice from the crowd answered

"Yes she is a witch and must be burnt. " the crowed chorously agreed

The old woman who already was looking pale due to how she had wept,looked at her saviour the lycan king and wanted to hear something positive from him..

"All you all has said she's a witch, take her and burn her to ashes." Lycan King Lucas said

He passed a judgement over a false allegation on the old woman ..Hearing this judgement she was dragged and were ready to set her ablaze.

"I Curse you Lycan King Lucas for passing a false judgement without carrying out proper investigation, you shall have limited life on earth" said the old woman weeping profusely

"You shall have just one year to live." she added as she was burnt to ashes.

Lycan King Lucas now discovered that he had made a grief mistake and he couldn't forgive himself having in my that he has a year to live and he is cursed.

Now he has some months to be alive he thought as he looked at Luna Jessy..

"Ouch."Luna Jessy said as she had regained consciousness..

"Sorry, please take it easy." the cursed lycan king said comforting Luna Jessy

"Who are you?..Where am I?. " Luna Jessy asked being inquisitive..

"I am Lycan King Lucas and this is Crescent pack... Let's just say I saved you from death." He said raising his eyebrows..

Luna Jessy became mute trying to remember what had happened the previous day..

"Oh what I could remember was that I was in a pool of blood and then I passed out." She said

"Thank you for saving my life." Luna Jessy added..

"You are most welcome." Lycan King Lucas said

"What were you actually doing in the woods by that time. " She asked looking at him to get a response.

"I actually wanted to commit suicide to end it all." Lycan King Lucas thought to himself

He wanted to tell Luna Jessy about the curse but he couldn't..

"Let's just say I am your guiding angel. " Lycan King Lucas answered smiling slightly..

Luna Jessy was not convinced about his response but wanted to let it slide.

"Thank Goodness I was there at that time,if not you would have been gone." He added looking at Luna Jessy shyly

"I want to thank you for saving my life,i am really grateful." Luna Jessy said

"You are really a good person. " She added

Their eyes met, Lycan King Lucas tried so hard not to maintain eye contact... He felt something he has never felt before, it was a strange feeling and he didn't actually know what it was..

"Who did this to you." He asked his eyes filled with anger.

"The one whom I call my lover and whom I sacrificed my position as the Alpha of Moon pack did this to me." said Luna Jessy as her eyes was clouded with tears.

Cursed Lycan king went close to her touching her hands,comforting her.

"He told me he had a surprise for me,he took me to the woods stabbed me and watched me flood in the pool of blood. " She added as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I am so sorry for what you went through and I promise to help you take revenge. " Lycan King Lucas said angrily with a determined look.

Luna Jessy thanked him for his support and she was happy that she had gotten a good friend who was ready to stand by her.. She was surprised she was in a new pack because she has spent all her life in Moon pack and she hasn't left there...She looked around as she admired crescent part and it's aesthetic view.

"I am back." Pijo said

He went in search of more herbs in healing Luna Jessy... The herbs that would reduce the pain and make her feel better

"Welcome back my good friend." Lycan King Lucas

"Thank you my friend, I can see you two are getting along. " Pijo said smiling

Glaring at his friend and back to Luna Jessy...

"How are you feeling today my lady. " Pijo said jokingly.

Luna Jessy and lycan King Lucas giggled at his jokes..

"I am doing fine and I want to thank you for your help. " Luna Jessy said

"It is nothing my dear,I'm only doing my work as a healer. " Pijo said smiling at Luna Jessy

They were all happy and excited about her survival.

"Yes, I remember now..can I see you privately."Pijo said looking at Luna Jessy.

Luna Jessy agreed and Lycan King Lucas wondered what Pijo wanted to discuss to her privately.

"I wanted to confirm something from you." Pijo said

" Please what is it that you want to confirm." Luna Jessy asked

Luna Jessy at this point was already confused and anxious to know what Pijo wanted to say.

"When I was dressing the stabbed area, I noticed you were pregnant but I'm not sure if the baby would survive due to the cut was deep.. Might as well have an effect on the baby."

" Yes healer you are correct, I was pregnant." She said

Luna Jessy was worried about what Pijo the healer had said and series of thoughts came to her mind.

"How is my baby? ..Is my baby alright?." She asked Pijo shouting.

At that point Lycan King Lucas arrived the scene due to the noise he heard..when she saw him she told him all what Pijo had said...She cried profusely and she hoped her baby was okay.

"Tomorrow I'll take you to a woman who is also a healer,she would confirm if your child is dead or alive because I do not know much about babies, so please calm down." Pijo said

Lycan King Lucas consoled Luna Jessy telling her to calm down that nothing would happen to her baby and by tomorrow they would confirm..She wiped her tears and nodded to what Lycan King Lucas had said..
