21. Coordinated Attack In the early hours of the morning a crow tapped on the bedroom window, startling me into alertness. Danny went to the window and opened it. The bird hopped inside and cawed a few times, blinking its beady black eyes and staring straight at me. It gave me the heebie-jeebies.
