The Boat - Chapter 46 - Divvying up Roles
After another night in our temporary shelter, Liam and I are both ready to start working on the boat. After a breakfast of fresh fruit and the last of the food we brought from inside the Dome, the rest of the population gather into groups. They divide by class first, proving that they do remember their life inside. The Hierarchy will dig large holes in the sand of the island, line the walls with rocks, and fill the holes with sea water. The Healers will bring the rocks for the walls of the holes, deposit the sand from the holes in other places where it will be helpful, and will form a line to transport the nets of fish from the ocean to the water filled holes.
