"Okay, Grace, how much time is left before everyone wakes up?" I set the stopwatch on my wrist-watch, so I could keep track of the time. "According to my watch, we have 20 minutes left." Mr Turner grabs a piece of paper and a pencil and starts to write, muttering under his breath. When he finishes, he walks over to us and explains. "Okay, we had 20 minutes left in the raced-time, so, I have just worked out how long it will take now." I read the equation on the paper and it shocks me. "8 hours? How can we have 8 hours left?" Mr Turner explains it, using his equation to help. "Well, we had one hour, right? We now have 20 minutes. That means we have 1/3 of our time left. The ratio is 1 day/ 1 hour. 1 hour in raced-time is 1 day in normal time. So, we have 1/3 of a day left. 1/3 of 24 hours
