13 Chapter Thirteen Armand Walking outside in Denver in March is like walking into a f*****g freezer. I pull my wool topcoat closer around my body, despising the wind that cuts right through it the moment I leave the airport. But after four weeks of waiting and no damn word, I have to go after Marina. It’s risky for both of us, me chasing after her. Her uncle is having her watched at all times, as I discovered the night we made love. I know I won’t be able to get near her house.
