“How's it going with her?“
“Her, who?“ I looked up from the document I was looking through.
“Lyra.“
“What about her?“
“I thought you had some grand scheme to get her back.“
I finally looked at him fully. “What are you talking about?“
“Lyra.“ He plopped down in front of me.
“I take it that you have nothing else to do.“
“I do.“ He smiled patiently. “But it can't wait. Nothing is as important as this right now.“
“Are you sure? The rerouting still needs more thought.“
“I will think about it later.“ He waved a dismissive hand. “This is more important right now.“
