DEVON'S POV
“Let's go.“
We changed routes and headed to the abandoned building at the farther edge of the pack.
“Do you really think anyone lives here?“ Jason broke the silence.
“I don't know. I never really gave the place any thought.“
It was true. The building had been abandoned since my father was Alpha. No one really knew why, since there was nothing concerning it.
A few steps from the abandoned building, I noticed that there was a path already cleared out from the front of the building.
“Someone definitely lives here.“ I observed.
“Definitely. The windows are free of dirt.“
Jason stepped cautiously in front of me.
“Do you want to stay here while I check it out?“
“No, that's okay.“
Together, we arrived at the door, and he knocked.
“Anyone here?“ He knocked while I looked
