I will never get used to that. “Two more injured guards died yesterday. Someone's mate died yesterday too.“ “Injury from the attack?“ “That's what the husband wants us to believe. That's what he believes too.“ “What happened?“ “I spoke to her child, and she had a different story to tell.“ “How old is this child?“ “Nineteen.“ “That's old enough to know a natural death from an injury.“ “Exactly. She said her mother was nowhere near the square on the day of the attack, so there's no way she died from a wound.“ I tutted. “If my mate died, I think I'd be too busy mourning than chasing some relief funds.
