I’d gone for a walk around the pack house as I was doing a little reconnaissance, figuring out how to get my luggage into the car without anyone seeing. Even at its quietest period, I still risked getting caught trying to get my things into the trunk of the car. I needed to rethink the whole suitcase idea. I might have to pack a little lighter than I would have liked to. I made my way back to my room, took a few things out of my suitcase, and shoved them in my already stuffed duffel bag. I told myself to keep in mind that they were only material possessions and that I could find replacements.
