I managed to avoid bumping into Jake back at the pack house and ended up going for a walk around the pack. I’d made a decision that I would tell my parents about my pregnancy. My parents had always been supportive of me and my brother, Dom. They had always treated us both fairly. Dad had trained me from the moment I could walk, I was told. Mom was more of a traditionalist, but, being that we had gamma genes, Dad put his foot down early on regarding training. It just so happened that I have always loved fighting, strategizing, and working out. I was a natural warrior, and Dad loved it. More so than my brother, he took on the role of Gamma out of obligation. My parents hadn’t picked up on it, but Dom resented it. I have a feeling that, given a chance, he wouldn’t have opted for that role.
