Our journey took us through winding roads and thick forestry. And when we arrived at our destination, I gasped in astonishment.
“We’re at our first stop, Huka Falls,” he said.
It was one of the most stunning natural sights I’d ever seen.
Stepping out of the SUV, I heard lots of gushing water. Walking from the car park to a bridge, I saw water being forced through a narrow passage in a canyon, and watched as the crystal blue water cascaded with such force that it sprayed us with a refreshing mist.
When Lynx stood beside me, I took in his scent. He smelled like amber and sandalwood; it was an earthy woodsy scent. It was so masculine and so enticing. I felt my body betray me once again.
