Sandy gestured for me to sit down, so I moved over to my bed and stood by its edge. She sat on the oversized chair near it. Her expression was serious, and I couldn’t help but feel a knot of anxiety tightening in my stomach. What could she possibly want to talk to me about? Did I do something wrong?
